Student Rights & Education is committed to providing a website and educational resources that are accessible to as many people as possible.

Accessibility fits directly with the values behind our work. People should be able to access information, participate meaningfully, and engage with educational resources with dignity and independence.

We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We are continuing to review and improve studentrightseducation.com and the resources available through it.

Our Accessibility Approach

We aim to follow recognized accessibility practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, where reasonably possible.

As we review and update the website, we work to support:

  • Clear and consistent page structures

  • Descriptive headings

  • Readable text and spacing

  • Sufficient colour contrast

  • Descriptive links and buttons

  • Alternative text for meaningful images

  • Keyboard navigation

  • Clearly labelled forms

  • Accessible navigation on desktop and mobile devices

  • Captions or transcripts for video and audio content when available

  • Digital resources that are easier to read, navigate, and use

We also use accessibility tools provided through the Wix website platform to identify and correct potential barriers.

This statement does not represent a claim that every page, resource, or third-party feature currently meets every accessibility standard. We are working to improve accessibility as the website and resource library continue to develop.

Downloadable Resources

Student Rights & Education provides downloadable guides, planners, worksheets, and other PDF resources.

We recognize that some existing documents may not yet work fully with every assistive technology or accessibility setting. Possible limitations may include:

  • Reading order within PDF documents

  • Form fields that are not fully interactive

  • Images or diagrams that require additional descriptions

  • Tables or layouts that may be difficult for some screen readers to interpret

  • Text that may not resize in the same way as webpage text

We are reviewing our document-design process and working to improve the accessibility of new and updated resources.

If you experience difficulty using a downloadable resource, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in a more accessible format.

Video, Audio, and Recorded Content

Where possible, we aim to provide captions, transcripts, written summaries, or another text-based alternative for recorded content.

Some older videos, podcast appearances, externally hosted recordings, or social-media content may not include complete captions or transcripts. Accessibility features on external platforms may also vary.

Please contact us if you need assistance accessing the information contained in a recording.

Third-Party Platforms

Parts of this website and its services are provided through Wix and other third-party platforms. These may include:

  • Online checkout and payment processing

  • Booking and consultation forms

  • Email subscription forms

  • Embedded videos

  • Podcasts

  • Social-media content

  • External articles, research, and publications

We do not control every accessibility feature or technical limitation of these external services. However, we welcome feedback when a third-party feature creates a barrier so that we can explore another way to provide the information or service.

If you cannot access information, complete a form, purchase a resource, book a service, or use part of the website, please contact us.

When possible, include:

  • The type of assistance or alternative format that would be useful

  • Your preferred way for us to respond

Depending on the information requested, an alternative format may include:

  • A more accessible digital document

  • A written description of visual information

  • A transcript or written summary

  • Assistance completing a website process

  • Information provided directly by email

We will review accessibility requests individually and make reasonable efforts to respond in a useful and timely way.
